Do You Really Know The Truth? PDF Print E-mail

When is the last time you "really" read your Bible without the aid of any theological input? Churches would have you believe that there were and are men who know more than you do when it comes to what the Bible means. God said you will know truth through the Holy Spirit. He obviously believes you are capable of knowing truth if you read His Word and listen to the Spirit He sent.

This website will be a journey into that truth and at times you will probably feel uncomfortable but if you pray and open your heart and mind to God and the Holy Spirit, you will know if the things written here are truthful or not. Trust in God and the Holy Spirit to show you truth.

How Do You Measure Truth? PDF Print E-mail

Traditionally the "truth" provided by Theologians absolutely requires that you restrict your understanding to exactly what they say and to a handful of "statements" made by Christ and His disciples.

Absolute truth is not restrictive. If something is "true" it will encapsulate ALL of what God the Father, Christ the Son and the disciples said and did without twisting or reinterpreting ANY of it. There are no "Hidden" meanings.

When your eyes begin to open and you see the truth of the statement above by what you read in the Bible and what the Holy Spirit tells you, you will be on the path to understanding what Christ really taught and what really happened from the moment God the Father chose to create.

The teachings of Christ are not wishy washy in the slightest. He was not milk toast and does not expect you to be.

I believe it is the goal of Theologians to control you and keep you weak in Christ and the gifts of God so you will fit into their view of an appropriate society.

God created you to be free. Free to think for yourself, free to do what you believe is right for you even if it is wrong. He loves us enough to allow us to be wrong. He does not ever force us to be wrong or to fit into a mold.

I've been told something that I believe is the underlying root cause of many people not wanting to really look at what anyone other than Paul says in the Bible. That we are Gentiles and therefor not subject to the words of Peter for instance.

If you read Galatians 3:28 you will realize that God does not view us as Jew or Greek nor does he see us as male and female, he sees us as "man" or mankind! Peter says we are all one to God the Father.

Wow! The implications of this verse and the resultant awareness that we "all" are supposed to sin no more if we believe in Christ is enough to knock the socks off all the Pastors out there.

You see, they have been teaching that as a verse says we would be liars if we told Christ we are not sinners, we cannot help ourselves.

The truth is...we are sinners before coming to Him but all the other verses say we are to sin no more once we have come to Him. In fact Peter says that if the righteous barely make it to heaven, what of the sinners? He differentiates between the two!

We are told to be Holy.

Regarding male and female, the original words do not say for women to be submissive to men but to "adjust" to their husbands just as husbands are to adjust to their wives because one is not better or closer to God than the other!

Churches will not teach this verse in it's entirety because most do not want to have to say they don't understand something so simple. They do understand, they just don't want or know how to reverse what they have been teaching all these centuries.

Links to sites supporting truth without twisting it.

1. This site is by Allon Maxwell and is well worth the reading. The papers here are called Shema Papers.

2. The following is written by Henry G. Sheppard and is the best description on tithing that I've ever read. Tithing What Does the Bible Really Teach?

3. L. Ray Smith extends a dynamic version of Tithing is Unscriptural Under The New Covenant.

4. Rebuttal to Paul de Jong’s Tithing Sermon by Russell Earl Kelly, Ph. D.

5. Read this amazing book free online Tithing Low-Realm, Obsolete & Defunct by Matthew E Narramore

6. These sites are quite different but have an interesting variation of the Nephilim at http://www.returnofthenephilim.com/ and http://www.mt.net/~watcher/enoch5.html

Keep in mind my rebuttal to the comments about females as follows:

It never ceases to amaze me how quick men are to dismiss females.

1. God created man in his image. Male and Female created he them. BOTH are in his image.

2. God only set male angels to "watch". That doesn't mean there are no female angels!

3. If male angels are physically capable of reproducing, ie sperm/penis etc, and they were not to do so with daughters of man and in fact went after "strange flesh", then they were obviously not only able to have sex with "not strange flesh" but must have female counterparts that they were allowed to be with. Otherwise why have sperm?

There is much we were not told and it is harmful to the females of our species to have you guys speaking as though you know it all.

Hypocrisy is a terrible thing and all too frequently those who proclaim to follow God the Father with Christ as their savior slide into the practice of walking the fence as tepid examples of Christianity that Christ states He will spit out of His mouth.

I'm sure this happens because there is a very dangerous belief being taught that you only have to believe and nothing you do from that point on will keep you from heaven.

This is not quite true! Christ says that if you love Him you will follow Him. He also says you must be more righteous than the scribes and pharisees. He specifically lays out certain "laws" in Matthews and tells us not to worship idols. He also charges us to be perfect as our Father in heaven is perfect!

When Pastors tell you that you are only human and you cannot be perfect, they are lying to you. If you do not have Christ to hold your hand and help you past temptation, then yes, you cannot be perfect. Otherwise, we are fully capable of not sinning just as Christ said.

Regarding idols by the way:

What of Halloween? Oh, you say that is just all in fun? Do you really think God the Father considers this "fun"? I doubt it. Consider where it comes from. http://www.history.com/content/halloween/real-story-of-halloween

Quote [Halloween's origins date back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain (pronounced sow-in).

The Celts, who lived 2,000 years ago in the area that is now Ireland, the United Kingdom, and northern France, celebrated their new year on November 1. This day marked the end of summer and the harvest and the beginning of the dark, cold winter, a time of year that was often associated with human death. Celts believed that on the night before the new year, the boundary between the worlds of the living and the dead became blurred. On the night of October 31, they celebrated Samhain, when it was believed that the ghosts of the dead returned to earth. In addition to causing trouble and damaging crops, Celts thought that the presence of the otherworldly spirits made it easier for the Druids, or Celtic priests, to make predictions about the future. For a people entirely dependent on the volatile natural world, these prophecies were an important source of comfort and direction during the long, dark winter.

To commemorate the event, Druids built huge sacred bonfires, where the people gathered to burn crops and animals as sacrifices to the Celtic deities.

During the celebration, the Celts wore costumes, typically consisting of animal heads and skins, and attempted to tell each other's fortunes. When the celebration was over, they re-lit their hearth fires, which they had extinguished earlier that evening, from the sacred bonfire to help protect them during the coming winter.

By A.D. 43, Romans had conquered the majority of Celtic territory. In the course of the four hundred years that they ruled the Celtic lands, two festivals of Roman origin were combined with the traditional Celtic celebration of Samhain.

The first was Feralia, a day in late October when the Romans traditionally commemorated the passing of the dead. The second was a day to honor Pomona, the Roman goddess of fruit and trees. The symbol of Pomona is the apple and the incorporation of this celebration into Samhain probably explains the tradition of "bobbing" for apples that is practiced today on Halloween.

By the 800s, the influence of Christianity had spread into Celtic lands. In the seventh century, Pope Boniface IV designated November 1 All Saints' Day, a time to honor saints and martyrs. It is widely believed today that the pope was attempting to replace the Celtic festival of the dead with a related, but church-sanctioned holiday. The celebration was also called All-hallows or All-hallowmas (from Middle English Alholowmesse meaning All Saints' Day) and the night before it, the night of Samhain, began to be called All-hallows Eve and, eventually, Halloween. Even later, in A.D. 1000, the church would make November 2 All Souls' Day, a day to honor the dead. It was celebrated similarly to Samhain, with big bonfires, parades, and dressing up in costumes as saints, angels, and devils. Together, the three celebrations, the eve of All Saints', All Saints', and All Souls', were called Hallowmas.] Unquote

Then we have Christ Mas. Oh joy goes to Christ in this one right? Absolutely wrong! It goes to Old Saint Nickolas on what is supposedly the birthday of Christ and nearly many Christians celebrate it with Santa as the gift bearer.

The origin of Christmas is as follows at http://www.history.com/video.do?name=christmas&bcpid=2647858001&bclid=1675979322&bctid=1586348684 give the video a moment to load.

Essentially Christmas is a conglomerate of pagan celebrations, at least one of which was for a Goddess, and to appease the public, the church decided to keep the pagan holiday as the day Christ was born even though he was most likely born in March.

If we are to continue to celebrate such things as this and in this way how can we show we are actually Christians?
